Building what research makes possible

I started my first company in ninth grade. It was small, but it taught me that an idea only matters once someone uses it. That is the habit I want to bring to healthcare.

  • 35+students taught through my tutoring company
  • $3,000+revenue earned from tutoring
  • 50+families advised on academic planning
  • 200+attendees at the NASA Space Apps Hackathon I co-led

Track record

What I have built so far

Small, real and finished. Each one taught me something a classroom could not.

Company

High School Summer Tutors & LeapOnSAT Tutoring

Founder & CEO · Grades 9–12

Problem
Students near me wanted affordable, one-on-one help with SAT prep and hard science courses over school breaks.
What I did
Founded and ran an online tutoring company teaching SAT prep, geometry and biotech, consulted with families on academic strategy, and formed an outreach partnership with LeapOn.
Result
35+ students, 50+ families, $3,000+ in revenue.

Pitch

Cancer research model at a startup meetup

VentureEd Global Commended Fellow · 2026

Problem
Research rarely leaves the lab unless someone explains why it matters to people outside it.
What I did
Presented a novel machine learning model for cancer research to a professional AI and startup audience through the VentureEd Tech Accelerator.
Result
Commended Fellow, and practice explaining research as a product.

Operations

NASA Space Apps Hackathon, Austin

Head Operations Intern, CGCS · with Austin AI Alliance, NASA & SerpAPI

Problem
A 200-person weekend event only works if workshops, mentors and logistics run on time.
What I did
Co-led the hackathon end to end: workshops, mentorship logistics and incentive distribution.
Result
200+ attendees, and a close look at how builders form teams under pressure.

Entrepreneurship

From research to real-world impact

Research becomes medicine only when someone carries it out of the lab. I want to learn how to do that well: listening for real problems, building carefully, and measuring success by whether patients are better off.

01

Solve meaningful problems

Start with a problem a patient or clinician actually has, then find the technology, not the other way around.

02

Healthcare innovation

Healthcare rewards evidence and patience. Good ideas need validation, regulation and trust before they help anyone.

03

A startup mindset

Move quickly on what can be tested, ask for feedback early, and treat each failure as data.

04

Research into impact

The goal is a path from a model in a notebook to a tool that is used in a clinic.

Pipeline

From idea to impact

Every venture starts as research or an idea. This is an honest look at where mine stand today.

In college

What I want to learn as a founder

A plan, not a claim. These are the skills I will work on from 2027.

01

Customer discovery

Talk to clinicians and patients before writing code, and let their problems choose the project.

02

Clinical validation

Learn how a model earns trust: study design, external validation and how regulators review AI tools.

03

Team building

Find co-founders and collaborators whose skills complement mine, from engineering to medicine.

04

Pitching and funding

Enter pitch competitions and student venture programs in college, and learn from every rejection.
